About the Space2 Gallery

Space2 is a programme of exhibitions in spaces across Watford, and was launched in the spring of 2006.

The aim of Space2 is to promote visual art in the widest sense, providing a platform for new and innovative work, showcasing local and national artists. Space2 aims to raise the profile of Watford as a town that is supportive of the visual arts and encourage existing and new audiences to develop their engagement with the arts.

This Could Be The Right Place

Sean Williams
3 July - 30 August 2014
Open Thursday - Saturday, 10am - 5pm

Sean's work presents views of suburbia, occasionally venturing slightly further a field in an attempt to compare the various place where we choose to live. The deliberate absence of people in the pictures suggests that something may be about to happen - nothing too dramatic, but a minor incident that disturbs the peace!

Event: Private View and Artist Talk

Saturday 5 July 2014
2 - 4pm

Join us for a walking tour of the exhibition led by artist Sean Williams. Just as the paintings could be seen as a wander through vaguely familiar places, this gallery talk will be a pleasant stroll with Sean, introducing the different ideas behind each painting.
